Alliant Energy Corp. (W.D. Wis.): Parties Stipulate to Dismissal With Prejudice

On August 12, 2003, Judge Shabaz of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin dismissed without prejudice the Amended Consolidated Class Action (No. 03-C-0191-S) against Alliant Energy Corp. and certain of its officers. A review of the docket for that case shows that on August 21, 2003, plaintiffs submitted a letter request withdrawing their motion for class certification. On September 20, 2003, the parties submitted a Stipulation to dismiss the Amended Consolidated Class Action with prejudice, which was approved and ordered by the Court on September 24, 2003.
